GARDENING VIDEOS: This series provides technical assistance and inspiration for your gardening needs

  • Planting the Three Sisters : The “three sisters” is a traditional form of companion gardening first developed by Native Americans. By planting corn, beans, and squash together, you can reduce pests and disease while increasing the bounty of your crop.

  • A Guide to Composting in South Texas : This is a complete, all-you-need-to-know video about composting. Thanks to Master Composter Caren Cornelius for the presentation.

  • Raising Backyard Chickens in Corpus Christi, TX : Join chicken enthusiast David Ritchie to learn about raising chickens in your own backyard. They're fun pets, contribute to the overall health of your garden, and provide food on the daily.

  • “Garden of Grace” Community Garden : First United Methodist Church has created a gorgeous community garden in the heart of Downtown Corpus Christi. This video features Pastor Pamela Dykehouse speaking about gardening as ministry.
