Sunset to Stars Illuminated Market
Mark your calendars! Grow Local's Sunset to Stars Illuminated Market is coming to the Art Center of Corpus Christi on August 5, 2026, from 5 to 10 PM.
And here is the best part. Everything is free. Yes, really.
Free parking. Free entry. Free music. From 5 to 7 PM, the first 100 kids ages 3 to 17 get a $5 veggie voucher, a sweet treat from Paloma Street Market, and a back to school supply kit while supplies last.
In the evening, everyone is invited to enjoy free tapas samples from Chef Faye, 7:30 to 9:30 PM while supplies last. DJ CeeJay takes the stage from 7 to 10 PM.
We will also have vendors and food trucks on site for anyone who wants to shop and grab a bite. The Art Center hosts a free family art activity, and Gallery 41 Bar rounds out the night.
Come for the sunset. Stay for the stars.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Corpus Christi Bay, this unforgettable brunch celebrates the farmers, fishermen, chefs, and food artisans who make our local food system thrive.
Guests will enjoy a 100% locally sourced menu featuring:

• Fresh seasonal farm harvests
• Local meats and dairy
• Handcrafted sauces, relishes, and desserts
• Culinary creations prepared by the Coastal Bend’s top chefs
The event also features live music, a silent auction, and community celebration, all while supporting the future of local food in South Texas. Every ticket purchased directly supports Grow Local South Texas’ mission to grow a healthy community by improving access to, education about, and advocacy for affordable nutrient-dense foods.
Why It Matters:
Since 2013, Grow Local South Texas has served as the anchor of the Coastal Bend’s local food movement. Through our programs we connect farmers, families, chefs, and educators while expanding access to fresh, healthy food across our region.
Our work includes:
• Weekly Grow Local Farmers Markets
• Youth garden and culinary education programs
• Cooking workshops and chef demonstrations
• Producer development and local agriculture support
• Food access initiatives including SNAP/EBT and Veggie Voucher programs
• Environmental education projects like the Banquette Sensory Rain Garden
We are also the only farmers market in the Coastal Bend that accepts SNAP/EBT benefits, matching those dollars up to $30 through our Double Up Food Bucks program in partnership with the Sustainable Food Center.
